There was absolutely nothing I liked about my stay.
To be honest we had a terrible stay at this hotel. We were firstly asked what rate we got the rooms for and then put in the rooms away down in the basement with very little light and no heating. 3 of us had two rooms and where freezing. The walls were filthy in my room. Dinner was nice but the dining room is also a bar and there were a group of at least 20 ill mannered really drunk people screaming and trying to sing (appalling drunk screaming voices) The staff did nothing about it. The hotel is on the river but it really is a stop over as there is nothing to do in the hotel but go to the bar. The rooms are fading, dull and dark. Not enough towels or shower products available. I would not recommend anyone to stay here. AWFUL!!!
Excellent service, delicious food, quiet location with good views of the city.Rooms had everything you'd need and staff were very pleasant and helpful
The location was lovely as were the staff, I found the decor a little dark in my room
My Husband and I enjoyed a very relaxing weekend at your Hotel.Your Staff were very pleasant and helpful with any thing that we needed .
The hotel staff was amazing - especially Noel Bolina. They made sure we were completely satisfied. The hotel was spotless and the food and bar atmosphere were amazing. The breakfast set-up was very good and the food was terrific. The hotel was off the beaten path, but was very convieniently located to the city of Waterford. The city lights were visible from the bar and restaraunt area and created a beautifully relaxing atmosphere each evening. This is a GREAT place to stay and was very reasonably priced.
Ideal as a quiet, relaxing retreat just 10 mins taxi from a vibrant city centre.
staff, resteraunt, location, value for money. It will be our choice of hotel in Waterford from now on.
Slight noise lelels from corridors from loud guests.
The rooms were very comfortable and well planned. The staff in all departments were extremely helpful and always pleasant and we particularly salute those in the restaurant who WERE THE BEST WE HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. The food in Zaks Restaurant was of a very high standard and reasonably priced. The car park was spacious, which is not always the case in City hotels.
nice service, clean, quiet - in a park, near sightseeing locations
the service, the attention to detail... the room
morning lie-in was interrupted by periodical evacuations from those above - not wonderful! Have to presume that this room, at the end of the corridor, was also at the end of the architects drainage scheme, but without sufficient sound insulation... a shame, as otherwise this was a lovely place to stay.
had 2 great nights and everything was very good, location was lovely and staff was great, would stay again if in waterford, thanks
Excellent in all respects. A large and comfortable room with a lovely view across the grounds to the river. First class service and genuine friendliness and helpfulness of all staff. Though we ate well at all the hotels that we stayed at during our driving tour of Ireland, the restaurant was outstanding for quality and service.
Sylvan location overlooking the river Suir and Waterford city. Large garden and terrace. Restaurant again overlooking the river and city Good food Selection of background music- classic jazz Personal management
Small quibble-restaurant seating a little bit low for the table height
Its style, it was original.
Asked for double room, got two single beds pushed together
Location was good, room very comfortable, staff welcoming. Worked well to not have to actually take car into Waterford on day of arrival when we did not know the city. Signage to locate the hotel was excellent.
